In a cozy corner of the fields of the state of Oregon in the northwest of America, old and faded caravans start a new life. While the aluminum and classic Airstream bodies have reached the centenary mark, a group of artists at this farm have taken a different path than the factory production line. Instead of mass-produced models, they transform these metal cabins into unique homes that bridge the gap between the tradition of rural living and the splendor of luxury design. (wallpaper)
Rebirth from the heart of destruction
It all started ten years ago when Parker Bolden, the founder of the brand Perpetually Devastated (Perpetually Devastated), which means “perpetual destruction”, left the city life to live full-time in a caravan. At the same time, he got to know all the intricacies of living in such a limited space, and this experience sparked the transformation of these metal rooms into a luxurious space for permanent residence in his mind.

The choice of this name for this brand is a kind of protest against the nature of today’s world, where goods fall out of use very quickly and are thrown away. From the point of view of this group, nothing is really destroyed and finished; They go to the same rejected objects that others have declared the end of their work, to restore their glory and value by fundamental reconstruction.
From body search to final arrangement
This studio now does all the work steps, from finding used bodies to the final design and construction. They have found a niche among wealthy enthusiasts who are looking for something more than just an ordinary car. Many of these customers want refurbished caravans not for travel but as stylish accommodation on their own land.

In this collection, work begins with the idea and mood desired by the customer; Then, by drawing a map and selecting raw materials, the design team executes the details in such a way that the result is completely compatible with the personal taste of the customer.
Four-season luxury accommodations
Each project takes about four months to complete. Interestingly, these caravans, whether built for travel or for permanent deployment in a garden, still meet all road standards.
All the steps, from wiring and plumbing to delicate and luxurious carpentry, are done in this workshop. This service is more similar to the interior design of expensive buildings, and the customer is completely free to choose the type of wood, fabric, and even the model of faucets and fittings.
The cost of owning one of these mobile palaces starts at $250,000, which shows that from here on, everything depends on the taste and ambition of the caravan owner.
