In the past, many migratory birds used to fly to this wetland during the winter season. The tiling of the walls and porch of the mosque dates back to the Timurid, Safavid and Qajar periods. On the doors of the mosque, which are old, there are inscriptions with Quranic verses. Be an astrologer’s house
Manjem Bashi’s house is considered to be one of the historical and outstanding architectural works of the Qajar era in Langrod. Manjem Bashi’s family became famous in Gilan at the same time as Agha Mohammad Khan Qajar came to power. This house probably belongs to one of the descendants of this family named Mirza Musa Manjem Bashi, who defeated the Russian army in the village of Pilleh Darban in Rasht.

Manjem Bashi’s historical house included interior, exterior, private house, mosque, bathroom, etc. The main entrance of the external building, which is known as “Moonlight”, has a crescent-shaped entrance gate with simple plasterwork. The upper floor of the house also consists of a reception hall and three rooms. This house is built in a traditional way with wood and clay. This historical building has been registered in the list of national works of Iran.
Langrod clay bridge
The clay bridge of Langrod, which is known by the local name “Khashte Purd”, is located in the center of the city and on the Sefid Rood river. The bridge consists of a middle surface and two sloping side parts.
