After a week of outage, the Kajaro site was once again available to users, and the process of full return of other services is also underway.
This disruption started on the morning of Tuesday, 14th of Bahman, targeting the virtualization layer and infrastructure of the Zomit family network. In the future, this attack caused a disruption in access to services. Fortunately, investigations show that there are no signs of intrusion into user data, and all sensitive information remains completely secure.
Currently, technical investigations are ongoing to identify the exact root of this disorder and a proper view of how it occurs has been obtained. The results of these investigations will be made available to the audience in the future with the aim of increasing the level of safety and preventing similar incidents.
The prolongation of the service return process has been caused by a series of technical measures, including securing the infrastructure, completely rebuilding the servers, reconfiguring the network, high volume of information, as well as Internet disruptions in the data center.
The incident was completely caused by a defect in the internal infrastructure and had nothing to do with the host’s data center. While fixing the identified vulnerabilities, we apologize to the users for this disruption.
In the early hours of service return, some site features may not be fully available, which will be fixed gradually and in the shortest possible time.
