A moment of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar’s daily life has been recorded in Shahristanak Palace, where two of his servants are reading the newspaper to the Shah. This black and white image can be seen as a reflection of the royal lifestyle for information on news and events.
Shahristanak Palace has traditional Iranian architecture with colored sash windows and walls that were decorated with German wallpapers in the past, and this area was considered a favorite palace for Naser al-Din Shah due to its pleasant climate.
These days, Naseruddin Shah’s beloved palace is in an abandoned and dilapidated state due to neglect and the passage of time.
