In the heart of a lush forest in Sri Lanka, a unique nature-inspired lodge offers a unique experience of staying in the arms of wildlife. This cabin, which is called “Glamping River Cabin” (Glamping River Cabin), is designed by Sri Lankan architecture. The cabin is built right over a quiet stream so guests can fall asleep to the soothing sound of flowing water and wake up to the sunlight filtering through the foliage of the trees. (Yanko Design)

Inspired by the lotus bud, the Glamping River Cottage has an organic shape, made entirely of bamboo and placed on a stone platform. This intelligent height, while creating a cool feeling on the floor of the hut, prevents water from entering it. A small wooden bridge is also installed to access this particular residence.
The interior of the glamping river cabin is designed for a single bed and open slits in the walls allow for ventilation and natural light; But perhaps the most attractive part of it is a small wooden platform in front of the hut, which with two chairs and a coffee table, provides an extremely relaxing space to relax and watch the surrounding virgin nature.

The designer has considered two types of covers for the glamping river cottage; A cover of semi-transparent fabric for those who want more light, and another cover of thick straw that provides more privacy and shade. This choice allows guests to personally determine their level of connection with the surrounding environment and make their stay experience unique.
