For years, backpackers and nature lovers have been faced with a difficult choice: carry heavy gear for a good night’s sleep, or travel light at the cost of uncomfortable nights. “Haven Tents” company has ended this dilemma by unveiling its latest product called “Spectre”. This ultra-light Ninoy tent with a weight of less than two kilograms and an innovative design promises a deep and comfortable sleep, similar to a home bed in the heart of nature. (Yanko Design)

Hontents, based in Utah, USA, has spent more than five years in research and development to eliminate the main problem of traditional nanos, namely the “banana effect”. This position, which causes an unpleasant curvature of the body and spine, has been the biggest concern of Neno users; But using an exclusive system, Specter creates a completely flat sleeping surface that allows the user to sleep easily on their back, side or stomach.
A combination of engineering and advanced materials
The secret of Specter’s unique lightness and strength lies in the use of advanced materials such as “Dyneema” fabric and “MONOLITE” lace. Renowned in the outdoor equipment industry for their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, these materials ensure product durability and stability. This tent has dimensions of 38 x 15 x 15 cm when closed and can be easily placed in a backpack or attached to it.

Specter installation is very simple and fast and can be hung between two trees; But its great advantage is the possibility of using it in places without trees. It can also be set up as a tent attached to the ground using Bivy Mode and a pair of climbing poles sold separately. This feature makes the Specter ideal for use in mountainous or desert environments.
Facilities for more comfort
Specter designers have thought of every detail. The 360 degree mesh provides a full view of the surrounding scenery while protecting against insects. A removable waterproof cover protects you from rain and wind and doubles as a privacy cover when needed. Unlike regular Nanos, Specter has built-in storage space; Multiple mesh pockets, a bottom compartment for gear and a rope for hanging the backpack make it easy to access essential gear overnight.

The Specter Nanoway Tent is currently available for pre-order at a special price of $359. With this innovation, Hontents seems to have redefined adventure travel comfort and made sleeping one of the most enjoyable parts of camping.
