When will the fencing of the city theater end?

The extensive project of fencing and delimiting the public space of the city’s theater, which has been abandoned for a long time and has made the city’s theater even more chaotic, is finally going to end.

This project, which has a metal fence around the city’s theater under the title of delimitation, has been left without construction activity for months. A project that had many opponents from the beginning, but the city managers and the Ministry of Guidance in the previous government ignored the criticisms and by creating a media environment with the presence of the former Minister of Guidance, it was kicked off in January 1402, and now the same plan has been left without results after two years.

The mayor of the 11th district of Tehran and the directors of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance visited the latest status of the Shahr Theater Project today, and during this visit, the end of the Shahr Theater project was announced in January.

The mayor of the 11th district of Tehran said during this visit:

Necessary preparations have been made for the construction project of the city theater in the Ministry of Guidance and Tehran Municipality has defined and entered into a joint project with the Ministry of Guidance so that the project can be put into operation. This project will be completed on the east and south sides by the end of November, and on the east side, the foundation and fencing are being done and will be completed in two weeks.

He stated that the northern and western sides of the city theater will be put into operation before the Fajr festival in January. added:

Due to the crowding and the presence of peddlers in this area, the creation of this fence makes the space organized. The order of the honorable mayor of Tehran was to finish this project as soon as possible.

Next, Saeed Jamshidi, Director General of the Office of Supervision of Civil Projects of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance explained that the main work has been started for less than a year.

A schedule has been set with the ministry based on which we will proceed with the work. We promised to start this project by the end of October. The work started exactly on the 30th of Mehr and we will assemble the panels on the west and south sides by the end of November. By the end of December, we will assemble the eastern construction fence.
