Cheshme Ali is located in the south of Tehran, near the city of Ray. The area has been one of the oldest settlements in human societies with a natural spring and easy access. On the other hand, its history and historical importance have always attracted the attention of the archaeologists.
In the 5th year, the German archaeologist Eric Schmidt was engaged in archaeological excavations in Cheshme Ali. These excavations are part of his efforts to document Iranian monuments and collect scientific and visual examples.
