Marc Fornes has introduced his latest project, Piloti in Washington. Designed with a massive and open -ended umbrella, this shadow is made of 4.3 dedicated aluminum pieces and represents a combination of engineering and artwork in urban space. (Yanko Design)

Mark Fornnes, known as futuristic designs, has once again moved the boundaries of light steel structures. The organic form, sophisticated patterns, and the attractive play of light and shadow in this project show his usual signature. Each piece of aluminum is unique and accurately designed to make the structure alive and dynamic in interacting with the sun and the presence of people.
Walking under this shadow creates a different experience. The structural lattice level is not only refuge in the atmospheric factors, but it also filters sunlight in a dynamic and variable way. This live relationship between structures and the environment is part of the philosophy of the design of the design; A structure that offers an interactive and inviting experience for pause and discovery instead of a static shelter.

Pieut is beyond a visual sign and is considered a public space for events, urban tours, photography, rest, gathering or spontaneous periods. The name of the project derives from the term “pilot” architecture means columns that keep the building above the ground; A good description for a structure that is weighing over the floating visitors.
The Polotti project shows how clever design can make everyday environments exceptional. You also share your view of this modern work with Kajaru.
