Gabriel Nokandeh, the head of the National Museum of Iran, announced the reopening of the historic complex. According to him, the National Museum of Iran will resume its activities on the eve of Tourism Week on Monday, October 7, with the opening of a special exhibition.
The Novandeh explained that the closure of the 6 -day war provided an opportunity to improve the infrastructure, review the arrangement of works and promote the content of the museum; A process that continues.
He added:
In line with the Cultural Heritage Department’s directive, the issue of reopening is seriously on the agenda and is intended for visitors to “surprises”. The main halls of the museum will be gradually reopened, and the time of the launch of the affiliated museums will be announced in future announcements.
