Mohammad Hossein Soltanifar, referring to the recent statements of the Minister of Tourism of Egypt that the first group of Iranian tourists will visit Egypt soon, said:

Referring to the importance of tourism in the political and economic relations between Iran and Egypt, he said:

The senior diplomat of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Cairo stated that in Egypt, usually issuing a permit for tourists to enter Sharm el-Sheikh is considered a step forward in the discussion of making a final decision regarding the promotion of bilateral relations with a country.
The recent decision of the Egyptian government to issue a permit for Iranian tourists to travel to this country is a window to improve the political relations between the two countries at the embassy level.
He also stated:
Recently, we witnessed Egypt’s approach towards regional integration and normalization of Egypt’s relations with the two countries of Syria and Turkey, and Egypt is well aware of the special position of the Islamic Republic in the region.
The senior diplomat of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Cairo also said in response to the question of what measures Tehran has taken to facilitate the travel of Egyptian tourists to our country.
There are no restrictions on this relationship from Iran, and we unilaterally cancel visas. Undoubtedly, Tehran welcomes the desire of Egyptian tourists to travel to Iran.
Ahmed Issa, Egypt’s tourism minister, announced on Tuesday that the country will host the first direct flight from Tehran.
He said:
This flight will be carried out through Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport; Because there were requests for flights between the two countries since the beginning of this year.
The Minister of Tourism of Egypt stated that during this time we were reviewing tourism plans, hotel reservations and the type of tourism based on the laws of this ministry.
Ahmad Issa said that on the first flight, 25 Iranian tourists will come to Egypt and their program will be limited to coastal tourism in South Sinai, Nubia and Taba, and a delegation from the Tourism Department will welcome them.
