Unauthorized structures in the privacy of the Freedom Tower; Cultural Heritage ordered the collection

Mohsen Saadati, Deputy Director of Cultural Heritage of Tehran Province, announced:

Following news of the construction of structures in the Freedom Tower complex, experts at the General Department have been visited by the site, while not confirming the construction structures, and the stories have been reported to the authorities in collecting the structure.

He added:

Regarding the compliance with the aforementioned structures and compliance with the laws and regulations of the cultural heritage, a correspondence has been announced to the Municipality of District 2 and the Cultural and Artistic Complex of Azadi Tower.

Saadati noted:

The Freedom Tower has been registered as one of Iran’s national monuments on March 1, 2009.
