According to ISNA, the Japanese Foreign Ministry reduced the fire between Iran and Israel and stopped the exchange of attacks to most of Iran’s areas, including Tehran and other central areas, from “Level 2: Immediate Establishment” to “Level 2: Avoid Travel”.
According to tourism activists, this change is a sign of improved security conditions in the country. Although the Japanese Foreign Ministry has not been recommended that traveling to border areas with Pakistan, Iraq and Afghanistan is not recommended, reducing alert level in most of Iran, including the capital, has created hopes for a gradual return on stability.
In addition, the Japanese Embassy in Tehran will resume the process of issuing a visa for Iranian applicants on July 1.
Previously, the Japanese Embassy had announced that due to some restrictions and internal conditions, no visas could be issued until further notice.
Visa for Iranian citizens at some foreign embassies active in Iran has been halted following an Israeli invasion of Iran.
