The Top Istanbul Hotel in 2 by the people’s choice; Luxury residence with Bosphorus

Readers of the Travel + Leisure magazine selected the top five hotels in Istanbul by participating in the world’s best prizes polls. All five Istanbul hotels belong to luxury chain hotels that, in addition to spectacular landscapes, with excellent services and luxury amenities are among the top Istanbul.

The Rafles Hotel won the title of the top Istanbul Hotel in Year 2. One of the T+L singers described this year’s “Best Urban Hotel in the World”.

Located in the European part of Bosphorus, the Rafles Hotel offers panoramic views from Istanbul, the Black Sea and the Marmara Sea; This broad landscape was one of the features of the hotel that was attracted by T+L singers. The Rafles Hotel is located at the Zorlo Center Shopping Center, which hosts luxury stores, restaurants and the Zorloo Performing Arts Center. The hotel also has one of the city’s largest spas with three baths, two restaurants and a coffee shop.

Every year for the World’s Best Awards poll, T+L calls on its readers to share their travel experiences around the world and express their views on the best hotels, residences, cities, islands, cruise ships, Spa, airlines and more. Nearly 2.3 T+L singers completed the Year 2 poll. Overall, more than 2.5 votes were recorded for more than 2.5 options (hotels, city, cruise lines, etc.).

The hotels were classified as a recreation hotel, urban hotel, guesthouse or safari residence based on their location and facilities, and in particular their evaluation was based on the following criteria:

• Value (quality against price)

For each of these features, respondents could choose one of the excellent scores above average, average, lower than average or weak. The average of these responses formed the final score.

The spectacular views of the Bosphorus Strait are common in Istanbul’s winning hotels in year 6. One of the readers of T+L described the view of the Shangri La Bosphorus Hotel (Rank 1) as fascinating; While the other views of the Bosphorus Strait from the Peninsula Hotel (rank 1) were perfect.

Beyond the scenery, guests have also referred to services and convenience; One user has cited spa and bathrooms, indoor pools and even heater seats in the Penssula Hotel toilets.
