According to the announcement of the Tehran Water and Wastewater Company, due to the unprecedented droughts of the last five years and the reduction of rainfall and in order to optimize the use of existing water resources to meet the basic and priority needs of citizens, the water division of all public and private pools of Tehran will be cut off tomorrow until further notice.
Tehran Province Water and Wastewater Company also urged managers of residential complexes with pools: Prevent water uses to fill these pools and cooperate with the company in order to overcome the harsh conditions of the existing dehydration so that they are not subject to legal restrictions.
The province of Tehran and the capital is currently experiencing the most unprecedented drought for the last century, and the reserves of water resources affected by successive droughts and dehydration have reached the lowest level of statistical period.
