Gholamreza Yazdani, the head of East Azerbaijan Museums, referred to the one -month closure of museums following recent events, coming to re -operate museums and cultural sites on Saturday, July 9, and said:
All the necessary measures have been considered to reopen the safe museums and historical sites and sites, and the centers will be ready to welcome visitors on Saturday, July 9th.
The head of the Museums of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of East Azerbaijan continued, referring to the necessity of preserving and maintaining the province’s museum treasures, saying:
Museums will not be welcomed to conduct specialized investigations, security reviews and internal organization until further notice.
She said.
The Azerbaijani Museum, the Qajar Museum, the Constitutional Museum, and the Museum of Assessment are museums that will not be reopened at this stage and their activities will resume after completing the review process. Other museums and historical sites in the province will be ready to serve visitors tomorrow as of the previous trend.
