The Adventure Hotel and Metro Jihad were nominated for Aga Khan award

These projects have been selected by the independent jury out of the four nominated works for the 16th period of this prestigious award and will compete for part of the $ 1 million prize; The prize is one of the largest awards in the world of architecture.

The Hormuz Adventure Hotel and the Tehran Jihad Metro Station are on the list of the final candidates for the Aga Khan Prize.

The Adventure Complex in Hormuz, the work of Zav Architecture Studio, led by Mohammad Reza Ghodousi, has provided a residence for tourists and a social space for the island’s residents with its colorful domes.

The Tehran Jihad Metro Station, designed by the Ka Architecture Studio, was built to replace previous worn -out structures and has become one of the significant urban signs of the capital with human design and brick facade.

Projects have been carefully studied by independent experts including architects, urban planners, structural engineers and architectural protectionists. The main referees will be held again this summer to review the results of the field visits and announce the final winners.
