The Multimedia Festival will be held by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, with the aim of promoting the culture of national heritage, promoting public literacy in this field, and utilizing new media capacities to introduce and preserve Iran’s tangible and intangible heritage.
This cultural and artistic event is with goals such as increasing public attention to the country’s cultural heritage, encouraging the new generation to create multimedia works, strengthen participation in the preservation of heritage, create constructive competition between artists, discover new talents and ideas, expand the exploitation of historical and natural heritage capacities, and to binding on historical and natural heritage capacities.
The 4th International Cultural Heritage International Festival will be held in eight main sections:
1. Cinema, Radio and Television Section: Includes audio and video products such as podcasts, radio documentary, short and long films, serial and animation.
2. Digital Heritage section: Includes digital arts such as animation, computer games, virtual reality and added; Digital platforms such as website, app and social networks; And digital economics including artificial intelligence, blockchain and NFT.
1. Music Works: Includes poetry and songs in local languages, traditional, integrated and orchestral music, and live performances and ritual movements.
1. Photo and Poster: Includes nature photography, cultural photography and video ethnography.
1. Written Works section: Includes scientific articles, books and academic dissertations.
1. Executive and Performing Arts: Includes ritual and athletics, ta’ziyeh, narrative, curtain and street and street plays.
1. “Future Heritage”: for children and adolescents of the age of 5 to 5 years for submitting works in the form of poetry, stories, photos and videos centered on family, local and ethnic heritage.
1. International Section: Special for foreign artists with the co -founder of Iran Cultural Iran.
The terms of the festival are as follows:
The works must be related to the last three years.
ـ Cinema and dramatic works are required to make a production or display file.
ـ Radio and television works must be licensed.
ـ All works must be related to the introduction of Iran’s cultural heritage.
ـ Sending a written description of a maximum of 5 words about the relationship between the work on the subject of cultural heritage is required.
The awards will include a legacy mirror statue, a certificate of honor, and a cash prize for each of the sections. The Khuzestan Special Prize is also awarded for the best heritage related works in the province.
The festival’s special statues are also awarded in four areas of text -based works, visual works, audio and smart and interactive works. The commercialization potential works will also be supported.
The deadline for submitting works is set from July 9 to October 5, and those interested can register and upload their works through the festival website at CH-FESTIVAL.MCTV.IR.
