In the past week, the world showed a variety of different rituals, arts and joys. Nepal witnessed the ancient ritual of “God of Rain” or “Rain God Festival”, which follows Hindu and Buddhist rituals to seek rain. At Vietnam, people came together to see the caravan carrying the sacred Buddha in the “celebration of al -Aak”. In the Vatican, the new Pope “Leo Fourteenth” experienced its first official appearance at the Eastern Church celebration at the Sixth Bridge Hall, and in Damascus, a crowd celebrated the lifting of US sanctions.
The American wall artist called Jeks in Glasgow, with a beautiful painting by Mary Barbour, a prominent Scottish activist, linked the spirit of yesterday’s protest to today’s social battles. On the other hand, in Johannesburg, South Africa, the elderly beauty contest was held with a special excitement.
In Argentina, tourists watching the amazing glaciers of Perito Moreno, and in Bali, locals and members of the Jimbaran indigenous community, with ancient rituals, traveled the Uluwatu Temple. The French Beach also welcomed the Photographers of the Cannes Film Festival before the opening of the event. (Guardian)
