Quoted by ISNA; Archaeologists discovered more than 5 pieces of wall paintings from a Roman villa by exploring the city of Villajoyosa in Spain in Spain. Parts of these paintings refers to the “luxurious decorations” of the residence.
The Roman villa is located on the side of the road that formerly the city of Alon, the ancient name of today’s Viakhviusa, now called Marina Baixa.
Recent excavations have provided information on the architectural design of this luxurious collection.
The villa has an area of more than 2 square meters and included a central courtyard, an industrial space and an open garden with porches enclosed with large columns and large rooms around it.
It was in this part of the garden that archaeologists discovered pieces of wall paintings. The walls that were once mud have collapsed in a period, with only the rooms left.
However, in one of the rooms, all parts of the collapsed walls were still in place; Where the research team was carefully separated, classified and recorded these painted plaster pieces.
Each piece was precisely photographed and documented so that the main composition would be reconstructed later.
