Beijing has taken retaliatory measures after imposing unprecedented 5 % tariffs on China.
China has warned Chinese tourists to travel to the United States in its latest move, according to the British news agency Reuters.
In a statement Wednesday evening, the Chinese Ministry of Tourism said in a statement referring to “the deteriorating economic and trade relations of China and the United States and the US security situation in the United States,” he reminded Chinese tourists to evaluate the dangers of traveling to the United States and travel cautiously.
Earlier, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lynn Jian said at a press conference: “The United States continues to exploit tariffs on China, and China is firmly opposed to this issue and will never accept this type of bullying.”
Lynn Jian said:
If the United States really wants to solve the problem through dialogue and negotiation, it must adopt the attitude of equality, respect and mutual interest.
US President Donald Trump imposed a 5 % tariff on China on Tuesday evening, leading to the intensification of Washington’s increasing trade war with Beijing.
