On the day of spring 1, a vibrant intersection in Tehran witnessed the passage of pedestrians, carriers and classic cars.

The image recorded by Tom Fitzimons of AP news agency shows a moment of the daily life of Tehran’s post -World War II. Lalezar Street, once considered Tehran’s cultural and artistic center, comes from classic buildings and unique architecture. While the carriers are still traveling alongside cars at that time, the capital’s peoples have gone through this historical combination of tradition and modernity.
