Traveling to the era of Qajar; Nasser al -Din Shah’s gesture in the pool

This historical image shows one of the rare scenes of the reign of Nasser al -Din Shah Qajar. King Qajar is sitting in the Basin of Sahebqaraniyah Palace, one of the most beautiful parts of this luxurious palace. Next to him there are a group of rijal and courtiers who appear to be paying tribute or receiving the order.

With its magnificent architecture, the Sahebqaraniyah Palace depicts a manifestation of the art and culture of the Qajar era. The lattice windows, plaster ceilings and hanging ceilings are among the prominent features of the space that have made it one of the most important parts of the palace.
