Commander Hassan Momeni said with the announcement:
From March 1 to April 1, 5 people died in road accidents. During this period, 2 deaths and 2,800 were reported, with 2,800 injured.
He added that the highest cause of the accident was the lack of attention to the front (2 %) and the inability to control the vehicle (2 %), adding:
A total of 1,800 accidents have been recorded.
Commander Momeni also pointed to the accidents of the past 7 hours and said:
During this period, two deaths were recorded with 2 deaths and 2 injured by 2 injuries.
Also, Commander Seyyed Timur Hosseini, the chief of the Rahar Police, announced the start of the second wave of Nowruz trips and said:
With the gradual return of Nowruz passengers, traffic on the northern axis of the country has increased. The axes of Imam Reza, Qazvin-Qom freeways and Tehran exits face heavy traffic.
According to Hosseini, some roads have been unilateral on the south -north route to facilitate traffic and better management. Referring to the proximity of Eid al -Fitr holidays and coinciding with the end of the Nowruz holidays, he urged citizens to manage their travel plan and take the traffic police’s safety recommendations seriously.
The traffic police also advised passengers to prevent bitter road accidents by observing the speed, the right long distance and attention to the front.
