Following the release of news of the demolition of the Singer building, Mohsen Saadati, deputy director of cultural heritage of Tehran province, announced:
The National Singer’s National Registration Effect is related to the Pahlavi era and one of Tehran’s index effects, which is prohibited from being destroyed and any license is prohibited without a cultural heritage and is legally pursued. So far, no authorization has been issued by the Cultural Heritage for this valuable building, and the owner is obliged to repair, protect and maintain it under the supervision of cultural heritage.
