Ferdowsi Square in Tehran is one of the most busy parts of the capital and is known as the beating heart of the city center.
The square is known as the beautiful Ferdowsi statue, but many of the monuments around the field have their own history and narrative.
One of the famous northern wall buildings of the square is the building of the National Airlines Company of Iran (Homa). In a photo taken by Harrison Foreman, a foreign photographer taking over the Pahlavi era, the white building of the airline is seen with Iran Air.
