The “Bird Photographer of the Year” race emphasizes the importance of protecting wildlife by displaying beautiful and reflective images of the bird world.
The Bird Photographer of the Year, organized by the International Association of Nature and Wildlife Photographers (SINWP), is also devoted to collecting funding for the Royal Bird Protection Association (RSPB). The British -based charity focus is on protecting birds and wildlife.
In the Year 6 Competition, Hira Punjabi of India won the main prize; For an extraordinary photo of a parrot who bite a bite. This image was recorded in January at Keoladeo National Park in Rajasthan. Punjabi has traveled to the area for more than five years to finally have the chance to see a rare battle. He says about the experience:
As a bird shelter, the area hosts many migratory birds in the winter, and some native species produce it. January is a very cold month, and often, fog and dust covers space. I have already seen the behavior of birds that attacked snakes and gadgets; Because these reptiles feed on birds.
After four days of watching a tree, a cold morning, a pair of parrots along with another 2 to 5 birds began to attack the masses. The show took more than an hour; I was able to get a lot of pictures; But this is my most popular picture.
The “Bird Photographer of the Year”, which is now in its seventh season, has so far collected more than £ 4.3 (more than $ 2.5) to protect birds. This year, 4.3 photos from all over the world participated in the competition, including only a few of the best selected images.
