Australia has decided to kill them after the inability to return the whale to the sea.
Australian wildlife officials made a difficult decision to destroy them after being unable to return the whale to the sea. These whales were sitting on a remote beach in Tasmania, making it impossible to save them.
According to the Tasmanian Department of Natural Resources and Environment, more than 5 whales scored late on Tuesday near the Arthur River on the west coast of the island. Until Wednesday morning, only four whales survived. Rescuers’ efforts to return two whales to the sea also failed due to severe winds and turbulent waves, and the whales returned to the beach.
Shelley Graham, Operations Officer at the Tasmani Parks and Wildlife Organization, said:
The sea is very turbulent and these animals are unable to cross the surfers. They return to the beach again and again.
Aerial images show that the whales are scattered along the coast, some semi -feds in Sand and others in shallow waters between the rocks.
The last similar case of a large number of killer whales in Tasmania was about 5 years ago in June, when there were two to three whales on the Black River coast north of the island, but the number of rescuers remained unknown.
Officials said they were decided to ethanat due to the serious condition of the whales to prevent further suffering. The long -term presence on the beach had caused them to confuse and distress.
