Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak, at a height of 1.5 meters, is located in the Himalayas and on the border between Nepal and the Tibetan autonomous region in China. This peak is called Sagarmatha and in the Tibetan language “Chomolungma” and is a sacred and spiritual symbol for locals. Everest is one of the toughest destinations in the world because of its natural challenges, dilute weather and very low temperatures, and every year professional climbers from all over the world strive to climb this summit.
Nepal is a small but full of natural and cultural attractions in South Asia, Everest’s House and many other Himalayas’ high peaks. It is known by Buddhist and Hindu culture, historical temples and stunning landscapes. The Kathmandu area and the Sagarmaata National Park are the popular destination for tourists and climbers. Nepal has also established its economy based on adventure and cultural tourism, and Everest is one of the most important reasons for its worldwide reputation.
