The mobile ice cream vendor on the streets of Tehran has been caught in the frame of a foreign photographer.
Clarence Sorensen, a foreign photographer who photographed Tehran during the second Pahlavi period, has left behind a valuable photo album. In Sorensen’s photos, certain historical images of Tehran and its people can be seen.
This photo of Sorensen shows three cycles of mobile ice cream shops in the streets of Tehran during the second Pahlavi period.
Another interesting feature and detail of this photo is the numerous shop signs and the driving school sign on the car inside the photo. Nostalgic information from Tehran that was recorded only in the frame of a photo.
