Infographic The busiest air routes in the world in 2024

Travel information company OAG has released its annual list of the world’s busiest air routes. Accordingly, the 105-minute flight between Hong Kong and Taipei topped the list of the busiest international flight routes with about 7 million seats sold.

The next busiest routes in this list will also sell between 4 and 5.5 million airplane seats in 2024. Southeast Asian routes took a high share of the world’s busiest flight routes.

The travel information company OAG has also reviewed the list of the busiest flight routes within different countries and announced that the top three busiest routes are also located in Southeast Asia.
