Turkish Airlines set the world record of flying to the most number of countries.
This record was officially confirmed after the first Turkish Airlines flight to Chile at the Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport in Santiago. With the addition of Chile to its flight destinations, Turkish Airlines is now active in 131 countries, an achievement recognized and recorded by Guinness.

Talal Omar, the official representative of Guinness World Records, also appreciated the vision of Turkish Airlines and considered this achievement as a confirmation of the global influence of this company in the aviation industry.
Turkish Airlines started its operations in 1933 with a limited fleet and currently flies to 352 destinations with 491 aircraft. The company continues to develop its flight network in order to adhere to its commitment to connect different parts of the world through Türkiye.
