Without the bridge, Karimkhan Street in Tehran had a different view than today.
The historical photo, which probably dates back to the early 1950s, shows Karimkhan Street and its intersection with Vila Street in a different condition than today.
This photo was taken when the Karim Khan bridge was not yet built and Karim Khan Street was a boulevard. Also, the historical church of Holy Sarkis can be seen in the frame of this photo.
Karimkhan Street in Tehran has been one of the hangouts of this city since ancient times and is now known for its busy cafes and bookstores.
