Kamchatka is a vast and remote peninsula in eastern Russia that is famous for its unique and untouched natural landscapes. This region with more than 300 volcanoes is one of the most beautiful and spectacular natural regions in the world. Valley of geysers and “Kronotsky National Park” (Kronotsky Nature Reserve) are among the most famous sightseeing destinations of Kamchatka, which surprise visitors with geyser eruptions, beautiful lakes and hot springs.
Kamchatka also boasts of its rich biodiversity. Ranging from dense forests to vast plains and raging rivers, Kamchatka is home to rare species of wildlife, including the Kamchatka brown bear, arctic fox and sea eagles. Due to the remoteness and low population of this area, its nature has remained almost unchanged and untouched and provides a great place for nature tourism and adventure lovers.
