Director General of Khorasan Cultural Heritage Razavi announced the start of the emergency restoration operation of the house of Master Kamal al-Mulk in Firuzeh city.
Seyyed Javad Mousavi said:
After a field visit to this important cultural and historical building, the emergency restoration work of this historic house was put on the agenda with the allocation of credit, and its renovation and restoration is currently underway.
Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi continued:
The house of master Kamal al-Mulk, built with brick materials and a wooden roof, on one floor, has residential parts, a kitchen, a stable, and a yard, which has been restored in several stages by the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage of Khorasan Razavi.
Regarding the General Administration’s plan to revive this historical monument, Mousavi said: After solving the ownership problems, it will be turned into a cultural and tourism space for public use. The house of Master Kamal al-Mulk, where he lived for the last 12 years of his life, is located in Hossein Abad Kamal village of Firuzeh city, which is one of the historical monuments registered in the list of national heritage of Iran. In the past, this house was connected to a large garden, which gradually dried up after the death of the master (1319), the remains of which are still available.
