Qasr Yaqut Sorkheh Hesar, a little-known historical monument of Tehran, is owned by a hospital.
Traces of Qasr Yaqut Sorkheh Hesar and its importance can be found in the memories of the Qajar era, especially Naser al-Din Shah Qajar. An attractive building in the outskirts of the city of Tehran at that time, which played a significant role in the trips of the king and the court outside the city.
This palace, which was built in the Nasser period, has a complete Persian architecture and less signs of Iranian architecture can be seen in it. Yaqut Sarkheh Hisar Palace, despite its serious role in the Qajar period, especially the Naser al-Din Shah period, was gradually forgotten and found a different fate. In the published photos from the shadow albums of Golestan Palace’s album library, numerous images of this Qajar palace can be seen.
