This week’s global events, from historical and religious celebrations and commemorations to environmental challenges, showcased the diversity and resilience of different cultures.
This week, the world witnessed various cultural events and natural challenges. In London, a group of military spouses paid tribute to King Charles III with a special performance at the Church of the Guardians on the occasion of his 76th birthday. On the occasion of the 86th anniversary of the death of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, Turkish children and teenagers honored his memory with a minute of silence at 9:05 am on November 10. This ceremony is held every year in his memory throughout Türkiye.
Armistice Day was celebrated with ceremonies in different parts of Europe such as Britain, Belgium and Paris. Armistice Day is celebrated annually on November 11 to commemorate the end of World War I. On this day, different countries, especially in Europe, honor the memory of the victims of great wars and peaceful efforts.
