The restoration of Khatun Bridge, which started in September of last year, continues in full force.

According to the General Director of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Alborz Province, the restoration of the historic bridge of Karaj, part of which had collapsed, is one of the priorities with the follow-up carried out since 1402 and by leaving formalities and providing credits to one of the most prestigious restoration companies in the country. was deposited He added:

Considering that non-principled restorations in the past periods were one of the reasons for the collapse of this bridge, during the period of restoration, compliance with any principle points has been prioritized and studies have been carried out before the implementation of the operation, but additional studies and investigations are also carried out during the implementation. Naturally, there were some interruptions in the process of doing the work to check the correct way of doing the work.

Khaki continued:

The execution of the vault is done; But in order to determine the direction of the developments, the Technical Council decided to conduct modeling, and the actions were interrupted until the conclusion of the contract with the consultant and the approval of the results by the Technical Council of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage. The new phase, including concrete, geogrid implementation, and finally the bridge deck, is now underway.
