This year, the food photography competition has displayed its selected images in food photography and various sections.
The Food Photographer of the Year 2024 contest once again showcased the best of food photography and presented a selection of amazing photos; Photos that depict the beauty and art of delicious and different foods from around the world. This year’s competition attracted thousands of entries from all over the world, each uniquely and creatively showcasing the vibrant colors, intricate details and cultural significance of food.
From a stunning shot of dewdrops on a fresh berry to a beautiful mix of street food vendors in a bustling market, the top images showcase the extraordinary talent and creativity of photographers who turn everyday foods into visual masterpieces. These photographs not only celebrate the beauty and appeal of food, but also tell compelling stories that connect us to diverse culinary traditions and the universal joy of eating.
The food photographer of the year competition was held in 36 general categories and the winners competed in different categories such as food for celebration, food for family, food for sale, wedding food, food in the field, street food, etc.
A photo of a woman in a village in China preparing a large batch of Dim Sum has won the 2024 Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year award. This photo, which also won first place in the “Festive Food” category, depicts the lively preparation for the Spring Festival or Chinese New Year, which includes making various dim sums such as red bean dumplings, steamed rice cakes, and sticky rice cakes. Each of which is a symbol of the rich heritage of culinary art.
