The Director of the World Heritage Site of the Sassanid Archaeological Landscape of Fars announced the modification of the details of the route to visit the Bishapur Governmental Citadel.
Afshin Ebrahimi, director of the World Heritage Site of the Sasanian Archaeological Landscape of Fars, explained the project of visiting the Bishapur government citadel, which is being done in order to improve the quality of visitors and reduce the burden of damage caused by the irregular traffic of tourists.
The operational details of this route, which was previously approved by the technical and strategic committee of the base, are fully reversible and can be moved easily, quickly and without destruction.
He added:
Therefore, after technical consultations with the Office of Bases Affairs and consulting the Technical and Strategic Committee, the separation and transfer of the cut parts of the track for use in other places of the area that is not in direct contact with the ancient floor is on the agenda.
Earlier, the pouring of concrete floor in the ancient area of Bishapur was controversial, and now the Bishapur Cultural Heritage Base has collected part of it.
