The historical and cultural complex of Saad Abad is one of the main destinations of foreign tourists in Tehran, who have shared their opinions with Google users after visiting.
The Saadabad palace complex, located in the north of the capital, is one of the most important historical complexes of the country, which surprises tourists with its various palaces and mansions. This green complex, which consists of different parts such as Shahvand Palace, White Palace, Saad Abad Palace, Black Palace, Shams Palace and Ashraf Palace, includes various thematic museums. The history of the historical and cultural complex of Saad Abad dates back to the Pahlavi era and was used as a royal summer residence. So far, many foreign tourists have visited this complex and shared their opinions and experiences with Google Maps. In the following, we will review some of these opinions.
1. Ebru Karalar from Turkey
A very large museum collection that must be visited. However, never forget that you are a foreigner. I paid eight times as much as Iranian citizens! About 1,000 lira! You must purchase the ticket yourself from the machine. With a little Persian knowledge, you can easily do this. If you don’t know Farsi, don’t risk it.
2. Mohammad Mavash from Lebanon
Good museums and lovely relaxing area. It has a view of the forest and royal residence. I recommend you also walk around the complex to see the area and the beautiful houses where people live.
3. Abdul Rahman Ghazaz from Egypt
One of the most amazing collections I have ever visited. Very beautiful and very large complex with many palaces and museums in large gardens. It also has a very beautiful small river. I recommend visiting in the spring when all the greenery is blooming and the weather is at its best. Now, the only negative point is that taking pictures is prohibited in some of the palace buildings, such as the Museum of Ceramics and the Green Palace. It is shameful; Because many people like to photograph and document such an amazing place. I hope that this ban will be reconsidered. Other than that, I highly recommend visiting this amazing collection that depicts the aristocratic and luxurious life of the Pahlavi family.
4. T SK from Australia
The worst place for tourists! They charge extra 200 million riyals from tourists just for being tourists and instead of offering a refund for the 50 million riyals we already paid, they told us to sell it to others who are queuing for tickets. I wouldn’t even give it a star; This place deserves minus five stars.
5. Christian Krüsi from Germany
The palace is set in a beautiful large garden and we visited a number of interesting museums. It is recommended to visit.
6. Cemal Baytar from Turkey
I would say spending one to two hours is not enough and you should visit it in detail. If you entered from the bottom entrance, go to the top and start from there.
