The Austrian photographer came to Iran in the 1930s and took interesting and lasting photos of the people and rural nomadic culture of Iran.
Iran’s turbulent history is linked to the history of its tribes and tribes; In other words, the nomads of this land form a part of its original identity. Until the year 1300, 25% of Iran’s population was made up of Ilat and its nomads; But this figure gradually decreased and reached below two percent in 1403. However, a quick look at the culture and life of the nomads, which are mostly settled today, is always interesting and admirable.
