The TON project unveiled an encrypted messenger on the blockchain. This project, which belongs to the Telegram team, now allows users to communicate with each other through messengers in this project.

According to Tekna technology and technology news service, the TON Foundation announced in a statement that the encrypted messenger on the blockchain is now available to users. According to two-way encryption, messages are visible only to the sender and receiver. Of course, sending messages by users is expensive. Each message costs only 0.006 tons of coins.

Anatoly Makosov, senior developer at this foundation, says: In this feature, even if an untimely event occurs and the servers are lost, you can send messages through the decentralized blockchain. Of course, in the past, users had the option of sending messages through NFTs during the transfer of Toon Coin. But the messages sent by other users were also visible.

Tone is a project of the Telegram team and a blockchain network. Telegram abandoned this project in 2020. But when the project was closed, its code was made available again to users and developers to work on its development. According to the announcement of this foundation, their network is now operating on Web 3 with higher scalability and better processing. Also, its decentralized feature is still preserved.
