Team Shiba Inu Marketing Director Lucy recently unveiled the team's plans to further develop the Shiba Inu ecosystem in the coming year. He announced in his new tweet that some of the new services and products that the Shiba community can expect in the coming year include; P2E games, Shibahub and Sheboshis. Lucy also announced that the development of the Shiba Metaverse is ongoing and information about it will be released soon.
In addition, the native decentralized exchange Shibaswap is expected to migrate from the Ethereum network to Shibarium's second layer blockchain soon. This move was supposed to happen a long time ago. However, Shiba's lead developer Shitoshi Kusama stated that they want to focus on projects already built on this layer 2 network, and then turn their attention to ShibaSwap 2.0.
Beginning
Lucy did not provide a specific timeline for when those plans could become a reality. When asked about it, he simply said:
When everything is ready, development never ends.
He further said that there is no rush; Because crypto doesn't need a temporary success, instead, it needs to “move towards creating an unshakable and secure structure for all, strong and stable.”
Lucy once again emphasized the role of the community in the construction of the shibarium. He also noted that he and his team will not give up and aim to make Shibarium one of the top five blockchain networks. According to available data, in December alone, the total number of Shibarium transactions increased from around 20 million to more than 207 million.
These figures will most likely continue to grow exponentially and this could have a positive impact on SHIB's price.
