While the biggest changes to the Galaxy S26 series design appears to be intended for the Edge model, new rumors suggest that Samsung also pay particular attention to its flagship model, the Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to information leaked by reputable sources, the handset will be widely upgraded to the camera section, and more importantly, despite the addition of magnetic charging capability, the dedicated S Pen pen will be maintained.
Following the release of images of the early replicas of the Galaxy S26 series, concerns were raised about the possibility of removing the S Pen pen in the Ultra model due to the addition of a magnet for Qi2 wireless charging. But now, Ice Universe, one of the most prestigious technology disclosures, has released the rumors and confirmed that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will continue to support the internal position for the S Pen pen. The release of the news also refers to the rounder corners for Samsung’s future flagship.
The most important part of the leaked information relates to the dramatic upgrading of the camera’s camera system. According to these sources, three sensors of four rear -facing camera sensors will have significant improvements:
- 2 -megapixel main camera: The sensor will be equipped with an open aperture (F/1.4) that allows it to absorb 5 % more light than the Galaxy S25 Ultra sensor. This change will lead to significant improvement in image quality, especially in poor light conditions.
- Telefooto Camerax: The current 2 -megapixel sensor is replaced by a new and larger 2 -megapixel (S5K3L) sensor, previously used in Samsung folding and mid -range phones.
- Telefooto Camerax: The 2 -megapixel sensor will also benefit from an open aperture (F/2.9), which increases light absorption by up to 5 %.
Previous rumors suggest that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will power from a special and overclocked version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It is also said that the device may have a thinner body and, unlike the current model, use a prominent camera module.
Given these remarkable upgrades, it looks like the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be a powerful competitor for future high -end phones like the Google Pixel 4 Pro and the iPhone 6 Pro.
