Jina’s artificial intelligence is learning two new tricks that are obsolete features and alternative solutions. Shortly after Google has integrated Gemini Live with applications such as Keep, Tasks, Calendar and even Google Maps, the company has now made it possible to produce more personalized responses for its own artificial intelligence.
For example, in February this year, Jina received a capability that could refer to your past conversations to provide you with better answers. However, this capability required that as a user, you actively encourage Jamina to recall specific information, but today it will not be possible.
Recently, Google has allowed Jina’s artificial intelligence to find out more about your previous conversations. This feature means “remembering key details and shared settings” will be enabled by default and will be completed over time. Here are some examples of what Google has shared:
- You’ve already talked about the evolution of the characters in your favorite comic book. Now, if you ask Jina to ideologize for a birthday party theme that is specific to you, you might recommend a celebration based on your favorite character with themes and a custom photo booth.
- You have already used a Jena to idea a YouTube channel focused on Japanese culture. When you ask me new ideas for producing content based on your interests, Jamina may have a video idea like “The first time I try” that you are trying to try a new Japanese food, a traditional handicraft (such as Origami or tea) or even a new Japanese movie.
Below you can see some of the new Jina’s feature that the author of the Android Police website added:
- Suppose you have already asked Jenaya to help keep your plants help and share the common problems you have with them. Now, if you ask this artificial intelligence about decorating a new apartment with herbs, it may automatically suggest plants that require little storage.
- You’ve already told Jina that you are a vegetarian and that you don’t want to eat in restaurants serving meat, regardless of the herbal menu. Now if you ask Google’s artificial intelligence to offer you restaurants in a new area, it will only offer the examples that serve vegetable food.
You can now speak temporarily to Jina

Do you have a question that you don’t want to point out in your future conversations? Instead of leaving the account or opening a new Jina page in anonymous tab, you can ask your question in a temporary chat similar to GPT chat. These conversations are not displayed in recent chats or activities of the Jina programs and will not be used to customize the responses of this artificial intelligence.
Jina keeps temporary chats up to 4 hours to help you track questions and process your feedback. New temporary chats are likely to appear in a separate sidebar. These chats are expected to be widely visible in the following weeks. Outside the temporary chat space, Google is now looking to use your conversations in Jena to improve your services to all users.

As important as this, however, it generally means that Google will sample your future uploads and conversations that will probably be used to teach its models. Needless to say, the name of the Apps Activity section has been changed to Keep Activity, and fortunately, its deactivation prevents Google’s sampling of your conversations with Jamina.
