A serious bug in the YouTube app for Android has caused navigation disorders. As a result of this error, one of the key elements of the application interface has disappeared and there is no access to sections such as Subscriptions, Library, and user profile options.
The disorder dramatically reduces the app’s uncle, and users are only able to view homepage videos or manual content search. Currently, this problem has only involved US Android users, including Premium subscribers. Google is considering the issue and is currently suggesting the use of the web version through the browser as a temporary solution.
YouTube usually offers less well -known capabilities that are useful to all users. But if your main goal is to watch the video from your smartphone, you only need to get acquainted with the basic parts of the YouTube app, which are the same on all mobile platforms. However, this was true before the current bug in the YouTube Android version. The bug in the Android version of the YouTube app eliminates an important feature and makes users unable to access other parts of the app. The source of the problem is still unclear, but Google has confirmed it and has released information about possible users’ problems.
The low navigation bar, which includes options such as subscriptions, shorts, library and profile icon, is now removed from the app and Android users can no longer reach these sections. The notifications button at the top of the screen is also unknown. In this case, the only way to see the content is to use videos on the homepage or search through the search icon at the top of the program. Opening the direct link of a video is also working. However, these features alone are not enough to take full advantage of YouTube. Even if it doesn’t matter to you Shorts and reviewing the latest videos of the creators, the lack of a profile icon is definitely a serious problem.
The profile option allows access to polylist, watch history and anonymous mode. Through this page you can also move between different accounts and access the application settings. Not all of these capabilities are now available due to deleting the navigation tape. Although Google’s support page has announced that only US users are affected, it seems that people from other areas, including Asia and Europe, appear to have faced this problem. Even if you have a premium subscription, you may experience this disorder on your Android phone.
Google is still investigating this issue and no specific solution has been provided. Fortunately, other versions of YouTube, like the web and iOS version, are operating without problems. The temporary solution for Android users is to use the web browser at M.Youtube.com to have a good user experience. Unfortunately, until Google does not publish a modification for these shapes, this is the only way to use YouTube features for Android users who do not have access to iOS or desktop.
