During the recent Google event, the company unveiled its new generation of smart glasses with the Android XR operating system; A product that combines augmented reality and artificial intelligence in the form of a wearable tool. But one of the most interesting and most important features of these glasses was the ability to translate live speech with Persian support.
This feature allows the user to hear people’s conversations in different languages and at the same time, to translate it into Persian or other favorite language in the form of subtitles in their field of view. This feature seems to have a huge impact on facilitating intercultural communication, international trips and even language learning.
The use of Android XR in these glasses provides a good platform for running augmented reality applications and its performance is fast and smooth. However, Google has not yet released information about the release or final price of the product.
Undoubtedly, adding Farsi to Google’s smart glasses is a positive step towards paying attention to Persian -speaking users and getting technology closer to their daily lives.
