Although recent delays have affected Samsung’s programs for the production of the Exynos 2 chip, its new generation, Exynos 2, is now in the development phase. Accordingly, the chip is likely to be used in the Galaxy S26 series.
According to the unique revelation of Jukanlosreve’s username, the Exynos 2 chip is definitely used in the Galaxy S26 series, but its production volume is so limited that it is likely to be similar to Exynos. The new Samsung chip is to be made using the SF2 process, which uses the third -generation Gate All Around (GAA) technology.
This process compared to the SF3 promises 2 % better performance, 2 % higher energy efficiency and a 5 % reduction in chip area. It is likely that the previous generation will be used to produce the Exynos 2 chip. It is unclear, however, why the disclosure has mentioned the similarity of Exynos 1 and 2. It is worth noting that the Exynos 2 chip, along with the Galaxy S4 and Note 2 series, was released in most countries except the US, Canada and China.
In fact, it seemed more to use Qualcomm’s patents than to be restricted to Exynos 2. Apparently the efficiency of the SF2 process is very good and is more than 2 %. In any case, it is expected that the mass production of Exynos 2 will begin in the last quarter of the year for use in the Galaxy S4 series. Needless to say, the series will likely be unveiled next January or February.
