Samsung recently released the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5, and now it’s the turn of the previous models of these devices and a few other tablets as well.
This update includes the Galaxy S22 family, Fold 4, Flip 4 and Galaxy Tab S8 models. As always, the update will roll out first in South Korea, Samsung’s home country.
For the Galaxy S22 family, this update is rolling out with firmware version S90xNKSU5EXH7 and a download size of over 2.8 GB. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 gets the F721NKSU4GXH7 version, while the Galaxy Fold 4 gets the F936NKSU4GXH7 version. The Galaxy Tab S8 version X700XXU8CXHB, S8+ version X800XXU8CXHB, and S8 model X900XXU8CXHB will also receive firmware.
This update also brings the September 2024 security patch to all these devices. The most important change in the One UI 6.1.1 update is the addition of artificial intelligence features that were first introduced in the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Now that the rollout of this update has started, it is expected to reach other regions of the world quickly in the coming days.
